Outside of work, James enjoys playing competitive touch football, being at the gym, wetting the fishing line from time to time in Sydney’s harbour and above all, spending time with his wife & little daughter.
Lionel began his career in financial services in 2006, and has experienced many changes within the industry, as well as the economy overall. As a Client Analyst with Uphoria Financial, Diane plays a pivotal role in the end-to-end client journey (from pricing negotiations, deal structuring & submission, and post-settlement checks), combining analytical precision with operational efficiency to support deal execution and provide clients with best-in-class customer experience. Diane started her career in the mortgage industry working in one of Australia's top brokerage firms and has also worked for two non-bank lenders specializing in near prime and specialist loans. Diane has a proven track record in document verification, lender policy and product analysis, post-settlement variations, and pricing negotiations with business development managers, mortgage managers, and brokers. Diane always aims to provide a unique perspective in helping achieve the best financial outcome tailored to clients' situation and needs. Ultimately, I thrive on creating experiences where clients not only achieve their financial goals but also feel genuinely valued and understood. She is a life-long learner & a believer of a sound mind in a sound body, I enjoy my free time reading books about finance, self-improvement, and languages and doing physical activities.
Ira is currently a Client Analyst at Uphoria Financial. In his current role, he assists in building loan applications, ensures they are submitted to lenders in a compliant and comprehensive manner, and manages loan applications once they settle. He has processed residential, commercial, and equipment loans for PAYGs, self-employed individuals, trust and company entities, self-managed superfunds, and strata corporations for two non-bank lenders and a mortgage broking firm since November 2021. He brings with him knowledge of various lending policies, platforms, products and scenarios, ensuring clients have a smooth loan application process. With every customer interaction, Ira aims to provide the smoothest experience and ensure they get the best possible outcome. Outside of work, Ira enjoys reading about productivity, finance, technology, and Mandarin.
